What Scribebot is

Writing an assessment task or a half-yearly exam paper is slow, repetitive work. A teacher assembles questions, matches them to the syllabus outcomes they are meant to assess, builds a marking guideline, and formats the whole thing into the faculty's template. Scribebot does the drafting so the teacher can spend their time on the judgement.

A teacher describes the task they need — the course, the year group, the topics, the length, the balance of question types — and Scribebot produces a draft paper as an editable document. The teacher then reviews and rewrites it. Nothing is published to students and nothing is marked automatically.

Privacy, in short

Scribebot holds a teacher's name, email address and school, and the documents they create or upload. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. Teacher content is not used to train models.

Drafting is performed using Google's Gemini models, which means the text of a prompt and any uploaded material is sent to Google for processing — this is the one disclosure outside Australia, and it is set out in full in the privacy policy.
